Keith Teo
Mr Keith Teo graduated with an Honours degree and completed his postgraduate studies majoring in marketing. He
has been training since 1996 in the areas of strategic marketing and global marketing at an established local tertiery institution.
Keith acquired vast experience and his various portfolios included corporate planning, customer relationship management,
computerisation of systems, organising mega-events, sales & marketing, staff training and inter-cultural management training
& consultancy. He has also worked with SMEs in their pursuit for organisation excellence.
He is a Certified Work-Life Consultant and was personally trained by the leading
American Work-Life Expert, Karol Rose. He assists companies to implement work-life strategies and is also a Family Life
Ambassador.
He has trained both expatriate and local managers, supervisors and front line staff in marketing, orientation programmes,
cross-cultural seminars, management of cultural diversity in the workplace, negotiation in cross-cultural contexts and development
of effective communication skills. He incorporates the ideology of Sun Tzu's Ancient Art of War into his seminars. He is a
member of the Young Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research (SIETAR).
He was an
Examiner and Course Developer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIMUK), a global education and training institution.
He developed programmes for the Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce and Marketing and was involved in introducing new training
programmes & seminars in e-Commerce and marketing in Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. His interest is on the
impact of IT on culture.
In Mar 2005, he was appointed Deputy Registrar/Licensed Solemiser by the Minister of Community Development, Youth and
Sports, where he is able to solemise civil marriages in Singapore.
Besides education and training,
Keith enjoys classical and choral music. He was Founder-Director of a 70-strong mixed choir in a local church, and
was also Founder-Director of a 60-strong 3-part treble school choir. He is also fascinated with the 'King of Instruments',
the Pipe Organ.
Wan Bong Van
Mr Wan Bong Van, BSc(Hons), MBA, is currently a director of a company involved in education and training. Prior to this,
he was a lecturer at a local education institution in Singapore. He has conducted training extensively in the areas of strategic
marketing and marketing research. He was also an advisor and consultant to many teams involved in marketing and business strategy
projects. Bong Van has organised workshops in Electronic Marketing and was a delegation leader for a group of students
who participated in a Multimedia for Marketing programme conducted by the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.
He was also the organizer and the delegation leader for an International Business programme conducted at Lincoln University
in New Zealand. Besides education and training, Bong Van is an experienced marketing consultant to various companies
in Singapore and Malaysia. He has assisted a company in the conduct of a regional market research project to identify business
opportunities for petroleum products in Myanmar, Philippines and Vietnam. Currently, he is involved in developing and introducing
new training programmes in e-Commerce and marketing in China, India, Singapore and Thailand. His current interests
centre around the impact of IT on marketing processes as he continues to read and research in this area. He developed the
course contents and teaching materials in Electronic Marketing for The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Lillian Koh
Ms Lillian Koh joined Metafora Business Associates after graduating from the Curtin University of Technology
(Perth, Australia) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Public Relations and Management). Currently she is the Manager (Marketing
and Public Relations). Lillian's roles include product marketing and formulating effective communications & business strategies
to help Metafora grow and achieve success. She aspires Metaphor to expand and gain wide recognition in the Asia Pacific region
in future years to come.
Prior to working with Metafora, Lillian worked in the airline industry and in a dynamic national
organisation. Her experience included Customer Relations Management, Sales & Marketing and Product Planning.
During
her years of work, Lillian has attended numerous training programmes of different scope and nature. The exposure to training
that she has received has reinforced her believe that training is important and beneficial for both the individual and the
organisation.
Lillian also has a passion for music both popular as well as classical. She is a graduate from the Associated
Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and is proficient in the pianoforte.
